Flav-R-Max is a bakers’ yeast extract with a high natural 5´- nucleotide content. The free-flowing, granular powder increases the overall flavour impact of a food. Comparatively low dosage level is required for effective flavour enhancement.
The product is hygroscopic, yet free flowing light tan granular powder.
Flav-R-Max is characterised by very good umami properties. The benefits to food systems are:
•Tasteless on its own, it is able to amplify existing flavour notes.
•It balances and masks undesired flavour notes.
•It heightens salt perception without adding salt.
Soups, sauces, marinades and ready meals are typical applications of Flav-R-Max.
Storage and Shelf Life
Flav-R-Max has a shelf life of 18 months when stored in cool, dry conditions.
