Organic buckwheat flour

Product Description

Buckwheat flour is suitable for a gluten free diet.  It is a light grey flour with dark pieces.  It has a fresh, typical smell.  Buckwheat is an excellent source of minerals and a good source of soluble dietary fibre.  Our flours are milled in Germany, from European grown cereals.

Applications

Buckwheat flour can be used in pancakes, blinis, crêpes and soba noodles.  It can replace up to half of other gluten free flours such as rice, bean, soy or sorghum used in gluten free recipes.

Storage and Shelf Life

In cool, dry conditions, organic buckwheat flour has a shelf life of 12 months.
