The crunchy, toasted spelt flakes are regular, light brown pieces. They are made by cooking fresh spelt with the addition of salt, and then rolling and roasting. These traditional blistered flakes have a fresh characteristic flavour, and a dry, crisp texture.
Spelt flakes can be used in the preparation of cereal bars, and as part of breakfast cereal mixes.
Storage and Shelf Life
When stored in cool, dry conditions, away from strong odours, spelt flakes have a shelf life of 10 months.

Spelt flakes are available in 15kg foil bags, and IBCs.
