Gluten free products

As more people cut gluten out of their diet, the food industry has responded with restaurant chains such as Domino's Pizza, Wagamama, Caffè Nero and Las Iguanas offering gluten-free options and supermarkets expanding their 'free-from' ranges. The clarity for consumers as to what products contain gluten made a step change from 13th December 2014 when Regulation (EU) 1169/2011 came in to force. This applies not only to packaged food, but also to food sold loose or used in catering.

While cereals are perhaps the most obvious finished product, and ingredient to consider as to whether they are gluten containing or gluten free, many of the ingredients offered by Orchard Valley Food Ingredients are suitable for coeliacs when incorporated in a gluten free recipe.
