Orchard Valley Food Ingredients is a new, UK based company, serving UK food manufacturers, and export markets. The business has been created by combining the established ingredients portfolio of Orchard Valley Foods and the acquired business of Food Ingredients International. Parent company Orchard Valley Foods is now in its eleventh year and has a turnover of over £20million. Its success has been recognised by professional bodies: the British Retail Consortium awarded it an A+ at its spring 2014 audit; national rankings: Orchard Valley Foods was named as One to Watch in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100, and regional bodies: Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chambers of Commerce voted Orchard Valley Foods as Small Business of the Year in July 2014.
There are two parts to our ingredients offering: lines we process, blend and pack on our site, and those products where we are the sole UK distributor for a small number of European producers.
We are currently approved by BRC to a grade A+ standard for the blending and packing of dried foods and confectionery decorations. We’re also approved suppliers to several major retailers as well as business to business suppliers for major food manufacturers. We’re members of, and are audited by SEDEX; accredited to the RSPO Mass Balance standard; Halal approved for packing, and due to get our Organic certification in late 2014.
As a manufacturer ourselves we understand the importance of traceability, availability and quality of components; of the functionality and suitability of an ingredient; of the packaging size and type; of the correct supporting documentation, available in a timely fashion, and of course a keen cost in use.
Whatever ingredient you are interested in, you will be dealing with our Tenbury Wells offices, and UK based sales team. You’ll be welcome to visit our facilities, and we are always happy to attend your own site for business reviews, NPD sessions, presentations, or trials.
